Really good post. It's pretty clear that eBook readers will be moving to color next. Many eBooks, if read in something other than a monochrome reader, are in color. Content is poised, now it's up to the hardware to deliver.

Leo Laporte also pointed out another optimization we hope to see in the future where the eBook readers selectively turn on and off the WiFi connection when the device is not in use to check for updates to subscriptions. If this were automated, it would improve the battery life and remove a manual step to the process.
