I have heard (or read rather) that Steve Jobs is less cruel and more merciful than he used to be in the "good old days."

Therefore, perhaps you could extrapolate that today's success for Apple (which by any measure is bigger and more impressive than his first go as CEO) directly relates to the softer more kindly Jobs.

I think Apple's incredible recent success goes to support your assumptions about Jobs; and if the rumors are true, shows how much some of those bad habits originally hindered Apple's growth.

In today's economy, it's an historic time to be buying Apple stock, if you ask me.
